Treatment of scabies, comparing the different medications

During seven years, our research group conducted a big and multicenter study on comparing different medications with different dosage in the treatment of scabies. This study led to multiple publications in high impact peer reviewed journals. There were some minor errors in the releasing of study results that I want to point out in this letter. In the Alipour et al. [1] study none of 420 patients not 400 patients experienced the allergic reactions. In the study of Goldust et al. [2] none of 380 patients experienced the allergic reactions not 400 patients. In Goldust et al. [3] study, overall cure rate for Tenutex group was based on 220 patients not 200. In the study of Pourhasan et al. [4] the total followed up patients were 400 (200 for each treatment group) and the total analysis in this study is correct and is based on 200 patients in each group and not 175 patients. In Ranjkesh et al. [5] study, the medication that was used was permethrin 5% cream not permethrin 5% lotion nor sulfur 10% ointment. [1] Alipour H., Goldust M. 2015.
